Flowfield

A fidget toy of liquid light. Stir it, pin jets and walls and dye into it, tune it until it feels right — then just watch it run.

What's inside

No goals, no timers

Nothing to win, nothing to lose, nothing counting down. A toy in the oldest sense: it does nothing except feel good to touch.

No ads, nothing to buy

No banners, no interstitials, no ad SDKs — and no in-app purchases either. You get the whole toy.

Fixtures that keep working

Pin a jet, a sink, a wall or a warp and it runs forever. Build a machine of currents and leave it going.

A tour on first launch

Every tool introduced one gesture at a time, demonstrated by a ghost finger on the live fluid. Ninety seconds and it's yours.

Tune every dial

Viscosity, persistence, swirl, trail length, glow, and particles into the tens of thousands. Find the feel you like and stay.

Share a board

Any board — its fixtures and whatever you tuned — packs down to a short link. Send someone your setup, not a screenshot.

The kit

Seven things you can put into the fluid. Each one keeps doing its job until you take it out again.

Stir Jet Sink Source Dye Wall Warp

Three moods

Starting points, not modes — each one is just a set of dials the Tune panel will happily let you take somewhere else.

Plasma

Loose, electric and filamentary. Particles get flung out of vortex cores and collect into threads of blue and magenta light.

Water

Heavy and coherent. Faithful tracers and short trails, so the flow reads as a moving body of liquid rather than as dust.

Smoke

Warm, dim and slow to die. An eddy you make survives for a minute, keeping its fine structure as it drifts.

How to play

There's no wrong way to use it. Here's the shape of it anyway.

Stir it with a finger

Drag anywhere and the fluid takes the push. Vortices spin off your wake, wander, and slowly fade — or don't, depending on how you've set persistence.

  1. Drag across the field to inject motion.
  2. Fast flicks throw filaments; slow sweeps move the whole body.
  3. Let go and watch what you started keep evolving.

Tip: The first launch runs a guided tour that demonstrates every gesture on the live fluid — you can re-run it any time from settings.

Pin things into it

Pick a tool and place it. Jets push forever, sinks swallow, sources pour, dye stains the current, walls bend it, and warps teleport it across the screen.

  1. Tap a tool in the bar, then tap the field to place it.
  2. Aim jets and set how hard they push.
  3. Combine a few and the interactions do the rest.

Tip: A wall opposite a jet is the cheapest way to get a standing vortex that never stops turning.

Tune it until it feels right

Start from Plasma, Water or Smoke, then open Tune and take it somewhere else. The fluid keeps running underneath while you move the sliders, so you can feel every change as you make it.

  1. Pick a mood as a starting point.
  2. Open Tune and adjust viscosity, swirl, trail length, glow, particle count.
  3. Share the result as a link — fixtures and tuning travel with it.

Note: A shared board arrives as the same setup, not the same frame. The chaos doesn't replay — that's the point.
